I wish I could choose more than one photo for today's theme. Write to Kurri and ask her, she is convinced that I took one (or more) picture of every fence in southern California.
On our trip to Cabrillo National Monument, which incidentally is free this week because of National Parks week, and to Seaport Village, I encountered a bunch of perfectly built, level and squared fences. But behind the lighthouse there was a small thrown together vegatable patch with this ratty, rundown, chickenwire fence and it really caught my eye.
I'm not sure if it's the juxtaposition of the perfect picket fence behind it, or the old wine barrel and I know the composition is probably really out of whack, but for some reason this picture really, really catches my eye!
I'm sure that you'll get a glimpse of the other more perfect fences in our next outtakes post.. like I mentioned earlier, I took over 900 pictures this weekend.
Anyway, enjoy.
